Ireland - Three year strategy consultation launched

A consultation has been launched by the Irish Revenue on its proposed three-year Statement of Strategy which covers the period from 2016 to 2019. The consultation will close on the 2nd of September.

The Revenue has said that the Strategy focuses on “the fair and efficient collection of taxes and implementation of custom controls” among other things.

The Revenue’s 2015-2017 Strategy had two priorities – making voluntary compliance easier and cheaper, and identifying and confronting non-compliance.
